SSgt Halex D. Hale - 1992 - 2016

SSgt Halex D. Hale, USAF, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 near his base in Italy.

He was born December 20, 1991, the son of Lance D. and Amy Su Monroe Hale. 

He was a 2010 graduate of Shenandoah High School and a five-year veteran of the United State Air Force.

He had lived his entire life in the Middletown/Daleville area and was active in school events. He ran cross country in middle school and played football and track in high school. He was part of the talent show in middle school and took a vital role in the school production of "Grease." He was also active in the school swing choir.

He is survived by his parents, Lance and Amy Monroe Hale of Daleville; brother, Chandler of Daleville; grandparents, Steve and Barbara Schlegel of Warsaw, Celia and Greg Ricker of Middletown, Jerry and Linda Monroe of Alexandria; great grandparents, Daisy Markum of Bloutsville, Oretha Monroe of Muncie and Barbara Ellen Schlegel of Zionsville; and several aunts and uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary hale; great-grandparents, Lonnie Markum, Nancy and Charles Myers, Byron and Deloris hale, Bill Monroe and Jim Schlegel.
